This notice has been prepared by Master Çelik (Erdem Metal Sanayi) as data controller to inform you about the processing of your personal data under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

2. Personal data we process

  • Identity and contact details: name, surname, phone number, email address.
  • Request details: project, measurement, location and photo information you send through the quote form, email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • Transaction security data: website logs such as IP address, browser information and date and time of visit.
  • Customer transaction data: information about quotes, contracts, orders and invoices.

3. Purposes of processing

  • To assess and respond to your quote and information requests,
  • To carry out site survey, measurement, fabrication, installation and handover,
  • To manage contracts and invoicing,
  • To fulfil our legal obligations and respond to requests from authorities,
  • To keep the website secure and improve our service.

4. Legal grounds

Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK: processing being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation of the data controller, the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and the legitimate interests of the data controller provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed. Where none of these grounds applies, your explicit consent is obtained.

5. How we collect data

Your personal data is collected electronically or physically through the quote form on our website, email, phone, WhatsApp, face-to-face meetings and cookies.

6. Transfers

Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be shared with authorised public bodies under legal obligations, with accounting and legal advisers, with suppliers that support our delivery and installation work, and with IT service providers such as website hosting and email. These providers may have servers outside Türkiye; in that case transfers are made in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK.

7. Retention

Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the limitation periods set by law, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about it, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad, to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, to request deletion or destruction under the conditions of the KVKK, to request that such actions be notified to third parties, to object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

9. How to apply

You can send requests regarding your rights in writing to our address above or to info@mastercelik.com.tr, together with information that identifies you. Requests are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
