A louvre fence is a fencing and screening system made of angled metal slats. Viewed from outside, the slats block the view, while the gaps between them let air and some light through. That makes it ideal wherever you need both privacy and ventilation.

Where is louvre fencing used?

  • Villa and residential gardens: installed on top of walls to screen the garden from outside.
  • Air conditioning and generator areas: hides outdoor units without restricting airflow.
  • Plant rooms and bin stores: keeps residential sites and businesses tidy.
  • Car parks and terrace edges: breaks the wind and limits views.

What is it made of?

Louvre fences are usually made of galvanised steel slats with box-section frames. Galvanising provides the first layer of corrosion protection, and powder coating adds a second layer while giving you the RAL colour of your choice.

Advantages

  • Long-lasting and easy to maintain.
  • No rotting, insect damage or peeling paint as with timber fences.
  • Made to measure, so it fits any wall or area.
  • A clean look that suits modern architecture.

Measurement and installation

Louvre panels are fabricated in the workshop from site measurements and fixed with anchors on top of walls or to posts in the ground. Slat angle and spacing are set according to how much you want to screen.
